There was a great lineup of speakers who gave advice on how to not only be a successful woman in tech, but how to succeed in general in this highly competitive industry. Some of the points that came up were the importance of networking and gaining a support system at work, which goes hand-in-hand with the value one can gain from a mentor and provide to a mentee.
Mausami agreed with other female thought leaders at the conference that it is important for women to be confident in sharing their ideas through collaboration and leadership while not being afraid to ask questions.
As an active supporter of diversity and inclusion, especially in tech, Nisum is thrilled to be attending Girls in Tech’s Catalyst Conference in San Francisco on June 20-22.
